These are the yellow bearded irises found at the back of our house. I planted it where I can see it at my kitchen’s window. I love the intricate design of this flower. It reminds me of emblems of many kings and queens in royal palaces. From the name itself, Iris is the name of a greek goddess who travel’s heaven and earth through a rainbow.
This is one of it’s buds. First thing that came to my mind when I first saw it is that of a paint brush dipped in a yellow paint.
When planting Irises, make sure that their rhizome shows above the ground so it will catch up more sun. Just dip the roots under a loose soil mixture. I love the petals shown in it’s top view in the picture above.
I also liked the foliage of the Irises, they are of a sword-like type.
That’s my little guy right there, I’m showing him the beautiful irises we got at the backyard too.
I thought I left a comment here the last time I visit hehehe. I have purple irises sis and I love them. Would love to have a yellow one though, it's so pretty.
Ako din, alam ko na nagiwan na ako nang comments dito sa post mong ito. Baka na delete mo inadvertently yung comments namin ni Rose, lol. Anyway, I love those yellow flowers. They remind me of our former garden in our former house where we have yellow bell flowers. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Rose and Kuya Mel, baka sa isa kong blog kayo nag-comment. I just promoted this post to my main blog in Heart's content. But this blog is more of the ideas of what my house and garden look like. Kim, Sureness, you can do that
