Lately, my MIL and my BIL has been buying peaches on the other side of the town. When we visited their house, I love the smell of ripe peaches. I helped them in peeling big buckets of them because they are going to do home canning. They are very expert in it as they have been doing it for many many years. George love peaches. I love peaches. And everyone in my hubby’s family love peaches. I suggested on how about planting Peach trees in our back yard but my MIL said that they are very tricky to grow. They need a mate to bear more flowers and fruits. And peach trees only last for a certain limited years. Oh well, we’ll just have to help our fellow farmers to buy from them, I suppose. I use them in simple meals like mixing it with ham, then with brown rice and green on the side like green beans and corn.
somebody retweeted last night that althoug peaches refer to Persia, they actually originated in China =)
