Fun Aurora Borealis Program
One of the fun activities that my kids and I went a month ago was to attend a children’s program in our local library. It was about Aurora Borealis and they met new friends there. There were non-fiction and fiction story telling about Aurora Borealis.
It was fascinating to know that one librarian there described the first Aurora Borealis that she saw when she was living in North Dakota. She said it was beautiful and she showed some nice pictures. It was exciting for the kids and somehow they wish to see one someday. The program also have sing-a-longs, cookie and ornament decorating and other art and crafts. The snow men picture above is Little V’s drawing.
The snow men picture above is Little G’s drawing. They both had fun and it was nice that there is free snacks after the program too. I’m glad we got to get out of the house anyway and participate in our library.
How about you, do you participate in your local library’s program? Have you seen a real Aurora Borealis?
