Money Saving Way In Renting Nursing Textbooks – Campus Book Rentals

Ah Nursing, those were the days that I find myself in a pool of big and thick textbooks. I remember that every semester, I have to seek friendship to the higher levels so I can either borrow their book or buy it at a low and used price if they want to sell it. Sometimes, it is even hard to find a friend who is willing to let his book borrowed as most Nursing students gets obsessive-compulsive about taking good care of their books. My very last resort is to pay the full price of the new textbook. These days,… Continue reading

More Yummy Lumpia Shanghai

One of my favorite dish to eat lately is the Lumpia Shanghai. It’s like Chinese spring rolls but made in Philippines. I love it! It just taste like home.

Stylish Vessel Sinks

I am looking for a rounded mouth type of a sink that would replace our bathroom sink upstairs. I remember a friend of ours shared a picture of their new bathroom sink where there is a clam-like shell mold into it and she decorated her bathroom as if it’s in a beach. I am jealous of her new bathroom. It took them years to remodel it and some parts of their house as their family got bigger. I just wish to have a house like theirs someday. I also found out some modern and stylish vessel sinks lately and I… Continue reading

Baked Easter Cookies

I bought a few boxes of cookie mix while they were on sale in our local store before Easter. I couldn’t resist the price that they were marked down $1.99 each. I am happy that I was able to bake chocolate chunks cookies, and sugar cookies that I cut into interesting shapes like bunny, butterfly, rubber ducky and star shaped cookies. How about you, do you use cookie mix too?

Love Home Swap – Swap your home for your next vacation

Home Swapping is a good way… Continue reading

Angry Bird House Chime

My family and I loved this simple house chime I made during my MOPS meeting. This Wednesday will be a MOPS day too so I am looking forward what our meeting will be about. I want to thank Marci, out Artistic Coordinator who prepared the materials such as the wood and metal accessories to be assembled as a bird house chime. I also thought the Angry Bird is being used as a bird in this cute DIY project.
