Plan Ahead for your Spring Garden

I am also documenting my gardening diary here online. I have seen Rebecca Kohl video that this month is the time to plan ahead of your future garden and plants for spring. Why? Because it is already the start of Fall and anytime from now, the first Frost will appear. Many plants require to be planted on Autumn rather than on Spring. The Beauty of Fall Season

Hi folks! How was your Fall season doing? It is pretty cold in our area these days. During my paper route around 4-5 AM in the morning, it has been in the 40 degrees Fahrenheit temperature. It is quite cold for me and I have to wear something warm. I have to double my long johns and wear long sleeve, sweater and a coat to go outside. I have a nasty cold and a sore throat. I love Peaches!

Lately, my MIL and my BIL has been buying peaches on the other side of the town. When we visited their house, I love the smell of ripe peaches. I helped them in peeling big buckets of them because they are going to do home canning. They are very expert in it as they have been doing it for many many years. George love peaches. I love peaches. Pears, pears everywhere

Our two pear trees has been abundant of fruits this year. Me and my husband did some pruning last Spring in the hope that it will bear more pears and so it did. I just picked piles of it that filled four buckets of 1 gallon ice cream containers. We are sick of eating pears. George seemed to be looking away when I tried to feed the mashed pears that my MIL canned last year. My husband has been consuming them for his office snacks. And me I just ate two or three. Harvesting Corn

My story about planting corn this year was that I was too late in sowing the seeds. Instead of starting to plant them on the second week of June so they could be knee high on or before July 4th, I planted them two weeks after Independence day. We had to borrow the rototiller that my BIL also borrowed from his friend. My husband got to try operating it the first time because it looks heavier for me and I don’t know how to operate it.
